CAEN Lab Status SMS/Email Interface

This service provides an email/SMS interface to check on realtime CAEN lab usage status. The information is pulled from the CAEN computer usage page every two minutes.

The CAEN computer usage page is useful, but only if you're already sitting at a computer. If you're looking for a computer, it's useful to be able to find an open lab without walking around the entire building.

To use the service, you need a phone which can send text messages to an email address. Most recent phones have this capability.

Just text the name or abbreviation of a building to caen@magictxt.net and you'll receive a message listing the utilization of each CAEN lab in the building. Common building names (like EECS, Dude, DC, Ugli) are recognized.
